(Beirut, 2019-2021)
Under the Beirut-based human rights organization Legal Agenda, research was conducted to document and advance social movements in Lebanon. These included the strike of students and professors of the Lebanese University, Shiite Muslim mothers’ movement to raise child custody age in religious courts, and the October 2019 uprising. Research articles in both in both Arabic and in English were published. Engagement went beyond research purposes to transform at times into partnerships that serve the causes.
